For 2010, 128 finalists nominations were passed onto the national judging committee, out of that, 48 finalists were selected. The judging panel selected finalists based not only on having an excellent safety record, but also on the level of commitment and in-depth review by management, employee involvement, training programs and innovative safety measures.
